COMBO
Retreat/Skillbuilding/Trail Riding
EVENT

Red Cliffs Lodge, Moab, Utah
Thursday evening, Oct. 12 - Sunday, Oct. 15, 1:00 PM.

IF YOU'RE READY FOR:

  • A time to enjoy horses and riding and become even more connected to the many ways horses enrich your unique life
  • A riding adventure to build your riding skills (work cattle ... or not ... your choice). We'll help you learn new skills and solve any riding challenges you want to address. There will be opportunities for us to coach you in the arena.
  • You will enjoy riding the Red Cliff Lodge horses. Many of them have cow horse and roping experience.
  • Trail riding adventures on spectacular trails in the Canyonlands of Utah.
  • Time to reflect on and design your next steps for your riding or in your life
  • A relaxing and inspiring getaway with fellow women adventurers

Then join us, Barbra Schulte and Sandy Collier, and a wonderful group of like-minded horsewomen for an AMAZING 3.5-day (3 night) Combo Retreat/Skill Building/Trail Riding Event

We bet you love riding - a journey that combines a passion for the horse and doing what you love with horses in the way you love to do it.

You probably love to learn, with a desire to improve your skills and have fun at the same time.

If so, then this Retreat is the answer to a dream!

The location of Red Cliffs Lodge along the Colorado River is a spectacular place to learn technical, mental, and life skills from Sandy and Barbra.

Did we mention you'll soak in fabulous scenery every moment you're on horseback?

Work cattle and ride on the trails.

Explore trails and scenery where John Wayne made many of his movies!

Work cattle (if you want) - no experience needed - only the desire to have fun with them whether you've worked cattle before or are excited to try it out.

I'm ready to learn, go on an adventure and have a blast!

CLICK HERE TO SEE HOW TO GET SIGNED UP!

You will do all this on horses provided by the Red Cliff Lodge Ranch - and the arena horses are good! You will have the opportunity to ride in the arena with Sandy and Barbra with cattle.

You may bring your horse for the arena sessions if you like. The Lodge requires, however, that you ride their horses on the trail.

You’ll gain the confidence and clarity you need to play bigger and make strides in your riding life ... and in your focus and calmness by digging deep into mental skills for riding and ways to grow personally because of your riding. We will delve into both of these on and off a horse.

PLUS, YOU'LL HAVE TIME TO SWAP TALL TAILS WITH NEW FRIENDS!

Hi! Barb and Sandy here ...

For the past six years, we've been doing retreats at Red Cliffs Lodge on the Colorado River outside Moab, Utah. This ranks high as a favorite event of the year for us.

We are excited to offer this same MAGICAL experience again in the Canyonlands of Utah!

Nothing we've done in our careers has been more impactful than this retreat experience.

There's also nothing in our industry that we've ever seen like this either ... considering the combination of arena time with the two of us, the option to work cattle, time to explore the joy of our individual riding lives, time to relax, and time on the trail!

Plus, we want to BUILD UPON WHAT YOU ALREADY KNOW ... and ... share our insights so you can:

* Build the technical and mental skills you personally want through our coaching * Stop feeling "less than" others ... and start knowing you are always enough * Feel confident about YOUR journey and your next best steps * Renew a deep commitment to your personal purpose and joy in riding * Feel more adventuresome and have more fun * Explore the grandeur and magic of southern Utah's magnificent canyonlands

FEEL FREE

Do all or a few of the excellent available activities! They are all optional. Whatever you choose ... enjoy.

RIDE IN THE ARENA WITH SANDY and BARB. We will use the Red Cliff Lodge arena horses during arena sessions. These horses had, and continue to have, working cow horse and roping training. They will be fun to ride. If you like, you may bring your horse for arena work.

SOAK UP "CLASSROOM" SESSIONS WITH SANDY and BARB. Explore your purpose for riding, your best self, and horsemanship topics like bits and bridle.

RIDE ON THE TRAIL WITH A RED CLIFF LODGE WRANGLER AND HORSE.

Explore stunning scenery during trail rides.

ENJOY OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES. Start the day with a walk and a hearty breakfast. Enjoy a few hours of free time in the afternoon - rest, hike, or experience Red Cliff Lodge activities, like the spa.

If it's time to GET AWAY for a stunning riding adventure in so many ways ...

Should I Come To This Event? The answer is YES if you…

If you want to expand and build on the knowledge you have already gained from a course, a workshop, a clinic, a product, or the free articles on our website...

If you want to design your riding life (and everyday life) according to what you love and value...

If you want to learn from Barb and Sandy, NOW is the time to take advantage of the event of your dreams in this gorgeous place.

Frequently Asked Questions

May I bring a friend or a spouse?

YES! You may bring your husband or a friend to this women's retreat. Here's how that works. A friend or significant other who comes with you but is not registered for the retreat may eat meals with us (for a meal fee) and be with us during social time before dinner. They are welcome to participate in activities offered by the lodge on their own during the day or explore the area. If you come with someone else, you may want to consider arriving a day or so early or staying a day or two later to take advantage of the area.

If I can't ride (for any number of reasons) or if I only ride a little bit, would this event still be for me?

Absolutely. We'll spend much time together before and after meals, during classroom sessions. If you can't ride at any time, you may still learn by participating in the non-riding sessions, sharing your story, hopes, and dreams, and observing Sandy and Barb's teaching. And ask questions.

What’s Included in Your Event Package?

Three evenings, two full days, and one-half day together.

Inspiration, learning, relaxation, rejuvenation, adventure & friendship!

We will ride and have Q&As and fun interactions and experiences.

Event registration covers our activities, meals, a horse to ride during scheduled arena and trail sessions, and cattle to work.
